Posted by Brattany at 8:28 AM

Whether you blow dry or air dry your hair is really up to you. Stylists professionals recommend two methods for various occasions, hairstyles and hair types. Drying is best if you want the process to be fast and if you want be able to style your hair all the drying process. Air drying is best if you do not want to risk damaging your hair and if you do not want to bother wasting electricity. But there is more than that. What are the essential differences between drying and air drying?

Air drying is best for those with a short hairstyle that does not require much maintenance. If you had long hair, you know that the air dryers long hair can take hours. With short hair, is the opposite. After being toweled off, the hair a few inches long can be dry in minutes. So why worry about the dryer?

Air drying is also the best for anyone with curly hair too. Lets face it if your hair is naturally very curly, a blow dryer will not change anything. In fact, everything you do is make your hair look curly unnecessarily. Take natural curvature of your hair and turn it up a notch, which is probably not a good thing.

Air Finally, if you have particularly sensitive or likely to damage the hair, drying is probably the best option for you. Wet hair is very sensitive, so when you expose it to high temperature of a hair dryer, you may end up making it brittle and frizzy. And the more times you do this, the more damage it can cause.

As you may know, the hair damage is irreversible. You really want to damage your hair so much that you end up with the LOP it and expect it to grow back? If this is not your idea of a good hairstyling practice, so be careful with the dryer, and only use it on low settings.

Drying is best for anyone with a life very fast. If you have to be at work in 30 minutes and you do not want to have wet hair, the dryer is really your only option.

If you have hair that is naturally very strong and bulky, drying can bring that quality without doing much damage to your hair. It gives you the ability to shape your style as drying, but can also have surprising effects, so do not overdo it. No matter how hard is your hair, the wind, sustained a heated dryer on high definition can really sap your hair of its natural oils. And these natural oils are an essential part of the body of your hair and manageability, so do not overdo it.

That is why, even when you dry your hair, it's a good idea to get your hair moderately dry before turning on the dryer. If your hair is still dripping when you turn it on, you're probably going to do damage. Starting at the top of your head, run a towel down the length of your hair several times, and only then should you hit the on switch.
